- In the wake of outbreak & rapid spread of COVID-19, the Government ofAndhra Pradesh had initially imposed lockdown till 14th April, 2020 vide thereference third cited under the Disaster Management Act, 2005 as per the guidelinesissued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India for the containment ofthe COVID-19 pandemic & has further extended the lockdown till 3rd May, 2020 inline with the decision of Government of India in order to contain the spread of the disease.
- The Government, have issued orders vide the references fourth and sixth, readwith the reference fifth cited, for the deferment of the payment of Salaries/Wages/Remuneration/Honorarium/Pensions until further orders, in view of thecircumstances stated in detail in the said order.
- Since the circumstances prevailing since the issuance of the orders in thereferences fourth, fifth & sixth cited, have not materially altered, the Government
hereby order that the deferred payment of Salaries/Wages/Remuneration/Honorarium, as per the pattern prescribed in reference fourth, fifth & sixth cited above, shall continue for the month of April 2020 payable in May 2020.
