Subject:- National Awards to Teachers 2020: Shortlisting of candidates by
District/Regional Selection Committees (DSCs/RSCs) –
regarding.
Madam / Sir,
This is with reference to shortlisting of candidates by District/Regional
Selection Committees (DSCs/RSCs) w.r.t. National Awards to Teachers 2020.
Keeping in view the current COVID-19 pandemic situation, the Chairperson of
the DSC/RSC may decide to conduct the proceedings of the Committee through
Video Conferencing or by using any appropriate online meeting platforms as per
the availability of the same with the candidates as well as members of the
Committee.
On the other hand keeping in view the progress of unlock process, the
Chairperson may decide to conduct Committee proceedings physically by adopting
appropriate social distancing norms and precautions.
I am sure that appropriate instructions might have already been issued by your
office to all Districts/Regions to complete the shortlisting process by 23rd
July, 2020 (as per prescribed timelines) through the online portal (https://nationalawardstoteachers.mhrd.gov.in) by using the official login credentials already shared with your
office.
The detailed user manual for shortlisting process is attached herewith and has
also been made available on the portal itself. For any technical issues in the
shortlisting process, an email may be dropped at helpdesk-nat@gov.in.
