1.The attention of all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the State is invited to the references 1st and 2nd read above, where in time was extended up to 31-08-2020 for submission of proposals for renewal of recognition of the Schools by the private aided/un-aided managements for the academic year 2020-201 and submission of affidavits due to Covid -19 situations.

2. The Private Schools Managements Associations have represented to the Director of School Education to extend time up to 31-10-2020 for submission of the proposals for renewal of recognition since a majority schools are unable to submit the proposals due to Covid-19.

3. Based on their request the Director of School Education has convened a meeting with following Associations on 21-08-2020 to discuss their problems

a. A.P. Private Schools Association (Regd.No.204/2015).

b. A.P. Private Un-Aided Schools Managements ‘Association (APPUSMA).

4. During the meeting, the Associations have informed that a number of managements could not apply for renewal of recognition as a number offices and staff that have to issue necessary certificates are either closed or the concerned staff have been in quarantine due to covid-19. They further informed that (425) applications are pending online and (773) are pending offline and requested to consider submission offline also as it would be difficult for them to feed the data again online.

5. After detailed discussions, Director, School Education has agreed to submit a proposal to government extend the last date of submission up to 31st October 2020 of proposals for renewal of recognition of the Schools and also agreed to consider the proposals through off-line.

6. In the reference 5th read above, necessary proposal has been submitted to the Government for extending date up to 31-10-2020 for submission of applications/proposals for renewal of recognition of the Schools and submission of affidavits. The government orders are awaited.

7. However as the last date as decided earlier is coming to a close by 31st August and in order to remove the panic among the managements about the pending applications, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the State are requested to consider the proposals up to 31-10-2020 f o r submission of proposals for renewal of recognition of and submission of the affidavits through off-line also by the private aided/un-aided managements for the academic year 2020-21 due to Covid-19 situations.

8. However, this relaxation does not apply to the proposals for grant of opening permission/up-gradation of schools for the year 2020-2021 which have been received after 30-04-2020.
