Two days state level TOT on "Management of library and Conduct of Library Hour at school level"

Sub:  Samagra Shiksha - A.P - Library Management at School Level- Identification of the SRPs for the 2 day state level ToT on " Management of library and Conduct of Library Hour at school level"- Requested - Regarding

Dear Sir/ Madam,

 

With reference to the subject cited above the state project Director has decided to strengthen the school libraries in the state. Accordingly it is proposed to conduct a 2 day ToT training programme on the “Management of library and Conduct of Library Period at school level" on 19^th – 20^th January, 2020 at state. Further they are requested to conduct a 2 days training programme at District level and Mandal also.

 

In this regard the DEOs & Ex-officio Project Coordinators and Additional Project Coordinators in the state are requested to identify 10 District Resource Persons which is including one Lecturer from DIET and at least 2 RPs from tribal/ITDAs from their districts who are experienced, interested in reading books, managing libraries and conducting a library period and capacity to mobilise the community. And in-turn they will be imparting training to MRPs identified @2 from each mandal.

 

Further it is also requested to identify 2 resource persons from every mandal who are interested  in conducting reading books , inculcating reading habit among students and mobilising the community to act as MRP in- turn to impart training to teachers @1 from each school at mandal level. 

 

It should be treated as urgent.
