Ref:-D.O. Letter Secy(SJE)/SD/2021 Dated 7-6-20212 of the Secretary to Government, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, New Delhi, Government of India.
Attention is invited to the Subject and Reference cited.
In the reference cited, Secretary to Government of India, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has informed that a new scheme has been formulated for SC Households who have lost their primary Bread Earners in the age group of 18 to 60 years due to the Covid pandemic. This scheme which has both subsidy and the soft loan components provide financial assistance up to Rs.5.00 lakhs per household and is available for the SC households with annual income less than Rs.3.00 lakhs. A copy of the guidelines are enclosed herewith for ready reference.
Hence, all the District Collectors in the state are requested to take necessary action to identify the eligible SC Households who have lost their bread Earners due to the Covid pandemic in the districts through Village / Ward Secretariat and furnish the information on or before 20-6-2021 in the prescribed format for onward submission to the Government of India
