Latest APGLI Revised Subscription Rates in AP PRC 2022

Below Table shows the APGLI Andhra Pradesh Government Life Insurance Subscription rates

Govt of AP has enhanced the APGLI subscription Rates as per AP PRC 2022. At the same time the APGLI Subscription Rules has been modified w.e.f. 1.11.2022

As per the current norms, the Andhra Pradesh Government Life Insurance Department issues endowment insurance policies to government employees based on the maximum insured age of 55 years and these policies mature at the insured age of 60 years. In the fourth to sixth Government Orders read above, the compulsory premium rates were revised under the policy and the revised pay scales were implemented based on the recommendations of the Pay Revision Commission respectively for the State Government employees including Public Transport Department and the existing rates were prescribed in the G.O. Read above.

2. In reference 2 read above, the Government has increased the retirement age of State Government employees from (60) years to (62) years.

3. In reference 3 read above, the Government has issued orders introducing the Revised Pay Scales 2022.

4. As a result of increase in retirement age from (60) years to (62) years and introduction of revised pay scales 2022. Director of Insurance A.P. in Reference No. 0 read above. It has sent proposals to increase the maximum insurance age from 55 years to 57 years and to revise the slab rates under RPS 2022 along with the table of total assurance applicable to various categories of employees.

5. After careful consideration of the proposal by the Director of Insurance. A.P. The Government hereby directs that the maximum insured age under the Andhra Pradesh Government Life Insurance Scheme be increased from 55 years to 57 years and the compulsory premium rates under the scheme shall be revised as detailed below and accordingly issue the following instructions
