 వర్షం వచ్చే ముందు మనకు చెమట ఎక్కువగా పడుతుంది. ఎందుకని?

జవాబు: చెమట పట్టడం అనేది చర్మం ఉపరితలంలో నిర్విరామంగా జరిగే ప్రక్రియ. చర్మం కింద ఉండే స్వేద గ్రంధులు చెమటను స్రవింపచేస్తూ ఉంటాయి. అలా చర్మం పైకి వచ్చే చెమట వాతావరణంలోని ఉష్ణాన్ని గ్రహించి ఎప్పటికప్పుడు గాలిలోకి ఆవిరైపోతూ ఉంటుంది. ఇలా ఆవిరవడం గాలిలోని నీటి శాతంపై అంటే తేమపై ఆధారపడి ఉంటుంది. తేమ శాతం తక్కువగా ఉంటే ఆవిరయ్యే ప్రక్రియ త్వరగా జరుగుతుంది. అదే వర్షం వచ్చే ముందు గాలిలో తేమ శాతం ఎక్కువగా ఉంటుంది. ఆ గాలిలో అప్పటికే బోలెడు తేమ ఉండటం వల్ల ఇక ఏ మాత్రం తేమను అది ఇముడ్చుకోలేదు. అందువల్ల శరీరంపైకి చేరే చెమట ఆవిరి కాకుండా అక్కడే ఉండిపోతుంది. అపుడే మనకు ఉక్కపోస్తున్నట్లు అనిపించి చెమటలు కారిపోతాయన్నమాట.

Why is it hot before raining?

When warm humid air flows into cool air the humidity is condensed into rain as the warm air cools. The temperature rise your feeling is the warm humid air rolling into your cooler area before it rains. Your body cools itself by sweat evaporating which disperses your heat into the surrounding atmosphere. If the air is humid the sweat cannot evaporate and you retain heat and feel hot.
