ITR Refund Status: It is known that the deadline for filing income tax return ended yesterday. After filing the ITR the Income Tax Department allows taxpayers to check whether the department has accepted and processed their returns. To check the ITR status taxpayers have to visit the IT department website and login. When you login you will get information like downloading return/notification. Also one can see previous ITR filings. According to the IT department portal.. there are different types of ITR statuses. After filing the ITR, the IT department notes the return. Checks if there is any error. The department informs the taxpayer of any error/mistake. Alerts you to correct errors.
If you do not respond to the IT department's communication or message regarding errors in the return, the filed ITR will not be processed. Tax payers should also note that it will be treated as invalid.

REFUND STATUS CHECK చేయడానికి ఈ STEPS అనుసరించండి.
First visit www.incometax.gov.in
Log in to the account. For this, you need to enter PAN/, User ID, Password
Click on e-file option
Select 'Income Tax Returns' under e-file option
Select View Filed Returns
Check latest ITR file
Select 'View Details' option to see ITR filing status
To view Refund/ Demand Status, please follow the below steps:
Login to e-Filing website with User ID, Password, Date of Birth / Date of Incorporation and Captcha.Go to My Account and click on "Refund/Demand Status".
Below details would be displayed.
In case of any refund you can see the amount, date of tax refund issued and clearance date.
