Andhra Pradesh Government is taking several measures to address malnutrition among school-going students.
As a part of this effort, the state government has issued an order to supply eggs and chickpea jaggery to all students in schools under the Jagananna Gorumudda scheme, regardless of mid-day meal.
In this regard, the Director of Mid-day Meal and School Sanitation, and all the DEOs (District Education Officers) of the state have directed all the principals to provide eggs and chickpeas as part of the mid-day meal to all the students in the school. New academic year.
